Help Yourself
Our flowers are located on our farm in Middle Tennessee. Our Farmstand is located on our farm. It is self-serve and stocked as we have availability in season. We also are stationed at farmers markets on weekends, so make sure to follow on Facebook and Instagram for our schedule and product availability.
Flower Care
After your receive your bouquet, you can help maximize the vase life by following these simple guidelines. We use the freshest flowers daily, and knowing how to properly care for your flowers can help you enjoy them longer.
-Change water every 2-3 days. Fresh cut flowers drink a lot of water. Make sure you are keeping them hydrated with fresh, clean water.
-Add a drops of bleach to the vase water. Some flowers, like zinnias, are known for making vase water dirty. Adding a tiny drop of bleach to your vase water can help combat this. An aspirin (not ibuprofen) can also work.
-Keep away from ripening fruit. The ethylene gas put off by ripening fruit will also cause your flowers to expire more quickly. It is also best to keep away from direct sunlight, such as a windowsill.
-Cut stems. After a few days you may want to give your flowers a fresh cut. This will help them continue to drink up that clean, fresh water. A sharp knife or floral sheers work well.
-Remove expired flowers and foliage. Removing spent flowers can help your bouquet to look fresher, longer. Typical average vase life is 5-7 days. Vase life depends on the type of flowers in the bouquet as well as flower care.
